DID YOU KNOW...

IMG-0013

You know Shall We Wine for in-store demos and consumer events.

Did you know that we also plan corporate events?

We work with our corporate clients to create wine, beer and spirit-focused experiences. These experiences include: wine dinners, wine tastings, team building "cocktail" exercises and more!

Last month, Shall We Wine worked with VNA on their annual VNA Uncorked Fundraising Gala. We curated the wines and provided five wine consultants to manage tasting stations. At this event, I partnered with Chef Paul Lindemuth, Executive Chef at Marcel’s Culinary Experience for a food demo and wine tasting pairing.

Currently we are working on an event with Thompson Coburn LLP. Later this month, two women winemakers, Kathleen Inman and Theodora Lee, are flying in from California for a private wine tasting and discussion with 50 female attorneys at Thompson Coburn LLP's Chicago office. We've also worked with Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP where we organized a Women and African Americans In Wine Tasting and Winemaker Talk. These are just a few examples of the types of events which can be conceptualized.

WE HAD TO SHARE

‘Tis the season for EVENTS GALORE! Here are some cool ones coming up we hope to see you at:

12/9 - Najwa Dance Corps Presents “Tell It Like It Is”

On December 9th, the Najwa Dance Corps in collaboration with some of Chicago’s leading poets will be merging the worlds of dance and poetry at the DuSable Museum of African American History. Dance is woven into the cultural fabric of the African Diaspora. “Tell It Like It Is” is both a modern and historical reflection of defining elements within these art mediums. "As with dance, spoken word also has a movement and rhythm which can be used to illustrate the tapestries of life." Click here for more info.

All is fine with sparkling wine!

You know I love bubbles. I was bubbly pleased when one of my favorite wineries Winter’s Hill released their first bottling of sparkling wine. The 2016 Ninebark Brut is a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. Made in the traditional method, with secondary fermentation in the bottle, and aged 18 months. Roasted almonds, pie crust, melon and honey on the nose. This is a luscious bubbly, the palate mirroring the nose with ripe melons, lime and apple pie and a cheerful acidity.

This will become your Sunday morning, listening to Sam Smith, contemplating the meaning of life wine.

Limited Time Offer!

Our friends at Winter’s Hill are offering free shipping on 6 bottles.

▪ Free shipping available thru November 30th, 2018 for Ninebark Sparkling Wine when you purchase six or more bottles. Click here for more info.
▪ Winter's Hill Estate is committed to preserving and creating habitat for native plants and the wildlife that rely on them. Across a 100+ acre estate, they've planted and protected dozens of species such as the Ninebark, resulting in a healthy environment for vines, employees and guests.
