The Leshem ZT”L (Reb Elyishev’s Grandfather) writes that there are 72 days from the 25th day of Adar to Shavuos. 72 is the gematria of chesed. And he writes on these days there is a special “Upper Awakening” from the heavens that is almost comparable to a freebie.

The only thing we have to do is to show our willingness to get on board. So with less than three weeks to go, it might be a good idea to take a small action (the easier the better) to show Hashem that you are on board. This small action is something that is representative of something you are working on this year.

In addition, try to live these next few week in a more conscious and aware state. We are on a journey to Har Sinai to receive the Torah which was THE great event in human history.

Let us make these days different.

Excerpt from Sparks from Berditchov - an Inspirational Guide to Avodas Hashem by Yaakov Klein

Remembering the Tefillin: It is incumbent upon every Jew to constantly remember the task encompassed within the two holy pairs of tefillinm ours and those of our Father in heaven. We must grab every opportunity to remember both G-d's tefillin - our obligation to praise our holy nation, and our tefillin - the obligation to praise the Master of the world..

Thank you Hashem for my life that is my unique opportunity to direct the life force within me that might naturally further conceal You.. Please help me purify my heart. I want to purify my heart so that I sincerely have heartfelt emotions only to fulfill the Torah and emulate You. May these deep emotions be honestly reflected in my speech and deeds so that Torah and the force of Your Lovingkindess are seen and felt in the world. May it be a merit for Klal Yisrael and an acceptable teshuva that fixes what needs to be fixed and that generates eternal life and makes a kiddush Hashem.
