As you know, starting in January we will undertake a Strategic Planning process that will help set the course for the future of the league over the coming few years. It will help us take stock of who we are, where we are now, where we want to be in 5-10 years, and what it will take to get there. The task force will meet regularly during the league year (we'll take the summer off) and will aim to present the strategic plan in February 2017 for approval at our April 2017 Annual Meeting. If you would like to be a part of this process, please email Amanda and plan to attend the training on January 9th. Sustainers and new members are welcome of course!

Why should you get involved?
* If you see yourself one day serving on the Board (especially as President or President-Elect), this is a must-do!
* This process will give you fabulous experience related to strategic planning you could apply to your professional life or entrepreneurial endeavors
* If you love Junior League and want to see it get even better
* If you have a particular passion or bone to pick, this is your chance to affect the change you wish to see

Google Docs is a way members can share, access and update documents instantly without having to send a bazillion emails back and forth with edited and revised documents. The documents are available to use and reference by all JLCV members.

For those not familiar with Google Docs, or want a refresher, please review this quick and easy tutorial

Have an update, Junior League photos, or an event you want to make the group aware of? Please email Lee, and we'll get it into the next Newsletter! Please put "Newsletter" in the subject line, and provide any information by the 20th to be included in the next month's Newsletter. Thank you!
