Perhaps the church, at its best, is “all ears.” Almighty God urges the faithful, again and again, to “listen up!”—to heed the word from above. So it was with Abraham and Sarah, with Mary and Martha, and the early church at Colossae. So it is today as we join the assembly to hear the word of God, the words of life.

Mary Pharmer will give a presentation that illustrates the work of Annunciation House ( in El Paso, TX. Mary lived in the Annunciation House community and, along with many other volunteers, provided support to migrants as they sought asylum and journeyed to sponsors across the U.S. Her main desire is to share stories and information that could help Wisconsin folks get a clearer idea of the “crisis at the border.”

Summer choir rehearses and sings for worship Sunday, August 4. We gather at 8:30 am in the choir room to prepare an anthem for 9:30 am worship. Please join us!!

Come to worship at 9:30 am then join us for fun at Little Amerricka Amusement Park! Following worship, we will carpool to Little Amerricka. Add your name to the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board. OutReach Magic Festival: A PRIDE Celebration event for 2019 will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall and the 30th Anniversary of Madison’s first pride parade.
