ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DIRT SCHOOL

Dirt School 2019 is a Minnesota High School Cycling League program for mountain biking which teaches student athletes the necessary skills to be capable and well-informed mountain bikers. The league partners with school districts or communities to provide this outreach program. This program is geared for students who:

▪ have never been on a mountain bike
▪ are new to mountain biking or
▪ want biking instruction to build their skills
have never been on a mountain bike
are new to mountain biking or
want biking instruction to build their skills

The Dirt School Program offers a day camp mountain bike experience (morning or afternoon sessions) to hundreds of kids across the Twin Cities.

All participants will have the option, at no additional cost, to use Giant or Liv mountain bikes and helmets. Riders can also bring their own bike to use, if they possess one. Any bike brought by a rider will be given a safety inspection.

Dirt School will run in three-week sessions in the morning or afternoon. It is open to all middle and high school students in the Twin Cities area, regardless of their school district. Exact times and locations can be found by clicking on the links for individual programs on the MN League Dirt School page.
