Infant and Toddler Yoga Classes This July!

4 Week Summer Series Begins Sunday July 9th

Yoga is a wonderful way for caregivers to bond with their children and for young children to explore movement, language, body awareness, social interaction, and so much more!
Join us!

1st Year Yoga: For infants 6 weeks old to pre-walking with caregiver

Sunday July 9,16,23,30 from 10:15 – 11:00am. Cost $48

Make-up Class (or add-on for $12) Sunday August 6th 10:15-11:00am

Yoga promotes attachment, body awareness, better digestion, and longer sleep for pre-walking infants. Gentle massage and movement, coupled with fun songs, provides opportunities for overall development as well as bonding with caregiver.
1st Year Yoga offers caregivers poses to relieve neck, shoulder, and back pain, opportunities to socialize with others in the same life-stage, and provides an advice-free, non-judgmental, supportive community. Guided discussions will deepen caregiver’s understanding of infant development and cues. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Please bring a baby blanket and a small, non-electronic, toy. Dress yourself and baby comfortably for gentle movement.

It is expected that babies may cry, need soothing, and feeding throughout the class. That’s okay! Please take care of your baby’s needs.

Toddler Yoga: For toddlers walking up to four years old with caregiver

Sunday July 9,16,23,30 from 11:15 – 12:00pm. Cost $48

Make-up Class (or add-on for $12) Sunday August 6th 11:15 – 12:00pm

Toddler Yoga promotes attachment, increases body awareness, reduces frustration and stress, increases attention span, provides social interaction, and builds self-esteem and confidence.

Toddlers will enjoy playful movement, fun songs, props, and poses in interactive, dynamic, and exploratory ways. Caregivers will actively assist their little yogis throughout class and participate in poses but no previous yoga experience is necessary.

Please dress yourself and your toddler comfortably. Yoga mats are not used for this class.

Why registration instead of drop-in?

Young children require consistency; to honor this, we offer session-based classes. The series format provides children with the routine, familiarity of faces, and predictability they need to confidently participate in class.
