Sunday, June 10, 2018 Third Sunday After Pentecost: Worship at 9:30 am | The Gospel for this Sunday: Mark 3:20-35 Knit Together in the Body of Christ A house divided against itself cannot stand. Jesus makes this observation in light of charges that he is possessed. He is possessed, not by a demon, but by the Holy Spirit. We who have received the Holy Spirit through baptism have been joined to Christ’s death and resurrection and knit together in the body of Christ. Those with whom we sing and pray this day are sisters and brothers of the Lord. With them we go forth in peace to do the will of God. | We regret that drafts of the minutes from the congregational meeting on May 20, 2018, and the council meeting on May 21, 2018, were published in the June 2018 Dialogue without being reviewed. Those versions of the minutes included a few errors, and did not accurately reflect the actions taken at those meetings. An updated draft of the minutes of those two meetings are available on our website: click here, and hard copies are available under the Jumbotron. Our sincere apologies for the miscommunication. As a reminder, meeting minutes are not official until they have been approved by the next meeting of the same body (council or congregation), so the minutes printed in the Dialogue are drafts meant for informational purposes only. Thank you for understanding.
