Greetings, everyone!

Here we are, mid-June already. How did that happen? Things have been quiet on the haiku front, but I do have one featured selection to appear in the summer issue of Modern Haiku.

In the meantime, I'm sharing a couple of haiku that I recently posted over on Instagram. Both were originally published in text form only, however, I always add a background or photo when posting to Instagram. These were both created at

My Update

Other than a trip to Vegas with the family in May (to celebrate my hubby's parent's 50th wedding anniversary) things have been pretty quiet. This month, on June 23rd, my son is graduating from Oulton College, and his father and I are very proud. :) I still can't believe how quickly the year went by.

We've already been in our new place for 6 months! And loving it by the way. Also been working on my chapter book and it is out for another round of edits at the moment. Next step--once the edits are all completed--will be to find an illustrator.

Although I haven't been writing much haiku, I also want to say, if anyone has any haiku questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'd be happy to help in any way I can!

That's all for now folks! Thank you for reading and I hope everyone has a wonderful summer!
