Wednesday, August 12th - Each month I post one entire issue of new writing and poetry contests open for submissions. In this issue I have included 40+ new writing and poetry contests (both free and fee-based). I've tried to include the most reputable and prize-worthy contests that many literary experts feel benefit the careers of writers and poets. To make this issue more reader-friendly, I have posted direct links to many of the contests' websites instead of our site where we originally posted the information.

Since this is a private emailing to my subscribers only, please do NOT repost online. Thank you. (C) 2015 / Brian Scott

Next week subscribers will receive our Special Deadlines Issue, which will have special calls for submissions and writing opportunities nearing their final deadlines.
