In the previous newsletter, we made a last ditch effort to ask local tiny house advocates to attend the Ojai City Council meeting on Aug. 28th. If you were one of the tiny house advocates who attended:

All your efforts were truly appreciated. Unfortunately, after a long (4hr!) deliberation among Ojai City Council members, the proposed tiny home ordinance still didn’t pass. Several Council members cited concerns about transiency, property taxes and whether the units would actually be affordable.
