Happy Summer !
Where has the time gone? It has been several months since my previous newsletter. Behind the scenes, Sol Haus Design has been B U S Y with new things on the horizon! Partly because we’ve been graced with lots of projects; partly because we're getting ready to launch a new website (just for tiny houses); partly because we're getting ready for the Tiny House Jamboree as a speaker; and partly because we're planning a wedding reception (yes, I married my boyfriend who made my tiny house dream come alive!).
When I built my Tiny House two years ago, I never thought it would attract the attention it has had... I'm humbled and proud. It is the culmination of all that I believe in - a design that stands for the environment, for community, and for a simple way of living.
I feel I've had more positive impact with my Tiny House than any previous project with bigger budgets and larger square footage. I've received amazing notes from strangers who were inspired to think smaller and live bigger; I've helped others build and design their own tiny houses, both in the US and across the globe in Korea, Australia, Europe and Canada. I'm continually surprised how far-reaching the tiny house movement has become.
I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve - hopefully making the world a better place and to inspire humanity in our daily lives. Quite simply, THANK YOU, for joining me on this journey.
