Hi there !
In case you haven't heard, my BIG move was a success!
It was more than a month ago on Mother's Day, May 10th, when my Tiny House and Tiny Office traveled 300 miles from Ojai to Oakhurst, CA. It was appropriate that it was Mother's Day because I felt much like a mom whose babies were going off on a big new adventure.
Before the big move, we worked feverishly for months to prepare. If you've heard that tiny houses can be moved easily, think again!
Check out some of the photos below for 'before' and 'after' shots!

Manifesting a Tiny House Community in Oakhurst, CA
So excited to finally take steps towards my dream for a Tiny House Community. This will take some time to bring to fruition. I'm thrilled to envision a new world, in the midst of civil unrest and global pandemic. Stay tuned for the next newsletter for more info!
Open for Business in Santa Paula & Making Progress
In order to continue my work locally with existing clients, my residence and office will remain in Ventura County. I'm currently working in my office in Santa Paula, the town next to Ojai.
There are some exciting projects in this small town, and I'm pleased to learn that SP City officials have a progressive stance on affordable housing initiatives. I've been speaking with the Planning Director, Jeff Mitchem, on a potential Tiny House Community in downtown. Jeff brings a breadth of experience from his previous position as City Planner in Portland, OR. He was instrumental in codifying tiny houses as legally accepted housing options.
Let's keep our fingers crossed Santa Paula can become a model for Tiny House Communities! It brings me so much joy to feel like I can make some positive changes in this town, in my own little way. It's high time for all of us to feel optimism in the face of so much despair.
Onward and Upwards!
