Our Vietnam Team has been very busy! We have just welcomed two more bears to our (now very BIG) family! Both sad stories with happy outcomes ..read their stories below!

It's hardly a secret really.... even though we're big and boofy, bears just wriggle their way into human hearts... and they find it hard to leave us!! And for that we are very grateful because the bear teams care for us so lovingly, often staying in their jobs for many years. Annemarie has been a wonderful Bear and Vet team manager! We wish you well but please come back and visit, AM!

From what Sal tells me, it's hard to think that any bear has a more remote supporter than me - I feel pretty chuffed about that!

Lyn and her husband Tex Battle are owners of Sweers Island Resort, a great getaway from just about everything!!! But don't be fooled! Sweets Island, in the Gulf of Carpentaria, has a long and fascinating history (both indigenous and early european exploration) and is a great place for fishing and just chilling.

Lynnie’s passion for moonbears was inspired almost 7 years ago when Sal started Adoptamoonbear. Her love for us was reinforced during her visit with Sal to meet ME and my bear buddies in 2015.

Now Sweers guests have to look out! Lynnie has created LOTS of novel ways to fuNraise for Adoptamoonbear and this year alone she has raised a whopping $1500!!!

Which just goes to prove...you don't have to live in a big city to raise lots of money!! A sense of fun and lots of enthusiasm will win out every time!! We Love you, Lynnie, & the Sweers Team!!
