2. Have enough provisions to last for 3-5 days during a disaster;
3. Have a battery operated transistor radio; and

New Vacation Property Rental Regulations

In an effort to address noise, parking, trash and life safety issues associated with vacation rentals, the Village Council passed an ordinance requiring property owners to register for a certificate of compliance with the Building and Planning Department. A property is considered a vacation rental if it is rented to guests more than three times a year for periods less than 30 days or one calendar month, whichever is less. Some property owner requirements include that all vehicles are parked within the driveway, that a register of all guests is readily available to the Village, and that no one staying in the property is on the Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators database. The cost to register for a certificate of compliance is $800 with an annual renewal fee of $275. There is also an annual compliance inspection fee of $265. Please click on the link below for the application.
