Inaugural Opening Hibiscus Gallery
September 1st through October 5th

Artist-in-Residence Xavier Cortada, will host the inaugural opening of the Hibiscus Gallery with his first solo show of the season, Florida Is Nature, an evolving body of work depicting the natural beauty of Florida. This extraordinary show will be on exhibit through October.

The JECC Boot Camp Ensemble is a weekly workshop under the direction of Nicole Yarling that enlists the help of South Florida jazz educators and professional musicians. The series, going into its sixth year, brings together beginner and seasoned musicians ranging in age from 8 to 19.

Annual Bonsai Auction

For those of you just beginning your bonsai collections or for the seasoned enthusiast, this event is an excellent opportunity to expand your collection in a supportive environment and help perpetuate the activities of the Bonsai Society of Miami.

4-Lizards

Little Lizards Drop-in Art Program
Ages 3 to 10 years old
Fridays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Free with $5 park admission, weather permitting

Join us every Friday afternoon at the picnic areas near the playground for our Little Lizards program. This drop-in, informal program will feature new activities every week relating to a monthly theme. September's theme is Cool Creatures. It’s going to be wild! This month we will explore animal tracks, build bird nests and look for critters in the garden! Dance like a honey bee and dig like an earth worm this month. You will learn all about the creatures in the garden and take home a wildlife friendly plant!

Dog

Every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We now have an “unofficial” dog park in the Village with our pop-up Fido-Friendly Sundays in one of Pinecrest’s most beautiful settings complete with water bowls, poop bags and loaner leashes if you need them.
