This email has been a very long time coming - but now is the time to say our proper and final good-bye.

Short and sweet

I'll try and keep this as brief as possible so please read to the very end, as there is important (and money saving) info for you... Thanks!

Many of you already know that we sort of closed our doors in December. The reason it's taken this long to say a real good-bye to this entire email list, is because I was looking for a new home for all our past students to go to. I didn't want to leave anyone hanging. I wanted to know you were in good hands. This was extremely important to me, and it took a while. But I've finally found the place to refer you all to and I will get to that in a moment.

First I just want to thank you. Words can't express what an amazing journey of (albeit - roller coaster ride) the experience of running this business has been. There were so many high points:

• seeing the amazing art that was produced week after week by the children. Kids' art is the best art as far as I'm concerned. How lucky I was to be a part of that!
• getting to know everyone in the neighbourhood
• being involved in community events - and meeting all of those champions who want to do for and teach great things to kids (Monkey Bunch, Small Print Toronto, the Little Paper and more!!)
• little hugs - oh, the hugs!
• getting to be goofy
• lots and LOTS of yoga and meditation
• growing a great working relationship with my brother Ryan Kelly (and getting to be goofy)
• the growth transformation in myself on a personal and professional level

It was because of these reasons and many more - that it took me a long time to get to the point of being ready to let go. I feel so fortunate to have been able to experience all that I have in living through this business. Again, I thank you.

Website

The website will cease operating soon - it's been 'on hold' for a while. Our Facebook Page will remain alive -- and I'll continue to post to when I feel compelled to share something important - because that page is really an extension of the part of me that is still Centre for Art & Soul. On that page I share about parenting, kids health, creativity for both kids and adults and any other issues that I feel related to all things 'art & soul'. Please continue to follow, comment and share.

I really do think I should make a coffee table book of all the art that's been created over the 5 years. It would be a beautiful book.

Admin Guru

I'm very happy to have found my 'fit' in Admin Guru. I'm an implementer and a 'Get Things Done' kinda gal. I'm now certified as an OBM (Online Business Manager) and working with my ideal client - biz and life coaches. "Find the job you love and you'll never work a day in your life" is now true for me. Life is good.

G Day Toronto will unite 150-200 girls, in addition to their “Champions” (girls’ parents, caregivers, elder siblings, etc.) and a team of volunteers, in effect becoming “the Village,” if only for a day.

This full-​day event features a diverse lineup of workshops for both Girls and Champions. Girls will connect with themselves and each other through movement, art, yoga, meditation, and inspiring presentations on sisterhood, women in technology, loving your body, and more. Champions will learn strategies for communicating with adolescents, balancing stress in family life, and promoting self-esteem in adolescent girls.
