How to get the most from NLP training
Let’s take the example of being able to master ‘sensory-based language patterns’. What do we mean by sensory-based language patterns? We take the world in through our five senses and in any given context a preference will show up in our language patterns:
e.g. “The way forward is bright and clear” – ‘bright’ and ‘clear’ denotes a visual preference.
Now put a day aside to learn to spot visual words and phrases. Once you feel you have mastered that you’ll be ready to move on to auditory and then kinesthetic words and phrases. Sounds like a good idea and you’ll soon get a feel for it, because you are then taking what you have learnt from everyday situations and that learning then becomes dynamic.
So, how would reading books, listening to audios and watching videos fit into ‘live training’ learning.
