 | The year 2018 has been a great time in the life of Cottage Hill Christian Academy. It is exciting for our staff to see the growth in numbers and in spirit this past year. FAITH-FAMILY-FUTURE is not just a motto but is a way of life for our CHCA family. God has been very good to our school and our church and we look forward to an even better 2019. Our offices will be closed from Thursday, December 18, 2018 until we return on Monday, January 7, 2019. Our staff is looking forward to some down time. Students return to school for the 3rd quarter on January 7, 2019. #AChildIsBorn | Our K2-K5 preschool students presented the “His Light Shines Bright” musical to their families, friends, and our CHCA elementary students on Wednesday, December 19th in the CHBC Worship Center. All past due balances are due by December 14th and accounts Must be current in order for students in grades 6-12 to take semester exams.

Test Data Night is from 6:00-7:00 P.M. and is for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade parents to review PSAT results. Afterwards there will be a junior class parent meeting at 7:00 P.M. to discuss several items including the Coming Home game and dance, Junior A.C.T. at CHCA, and other upcoming spring events pertinent to juniors.
If you are a junior parent and are unable to attend the junior parent meeting, please have your student stop by the office to pick up an extremely important information packet. | Lost & Found We have an abundance of items in Lost and Found. Please come by the offices to check to see if any items belong to your student. We will donate items left after the first of the year. | YDL Soccer Information ▪ YDL Soccer is offered to CHCA students in K5-6th grades.
▪ Practices will begin in late January. Practice times and locations are to be announced once we know how many teams we will field in each age group.
▪ Games will be played on Saturday mornings.
▪ YDL game dates are Feb 9th and 23rd, and March 2nd, 16th, 23rd, and 30th. The cost per player for YDL soccer is $125.
▪ The soccer program will have a soccer sweatshirt and soccer bag fundraiser this year for those YDL soccer players and parents who would like to order a sweatshirt and/or soccer bag. More details concerning the sweatshirt and soccer bag fundraiser will be communicated out after Christmas break.

Teaching aides will be full-time, salaried employees that operate on the school’s academic calendar. Teaching Aides will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of entry level preschool classrooms under the direction of a lead teacher and the supervision of the Assistant Preschool Director. Candidates must be in agreement with the mission/vision of CHCA, have previous experience with childcare, complete a background check, have the ability to work well on a team, and display a servant’s heart.
