We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "Happy and blessed New Year to you all. I pray you are all doing well in spite of the illness making its rounds. I pray for all of you that have been affected with lost family members. My heart is hurting for you all. Praying that God comfort your hearts. In our lifetimes we will have sorrow, but God will comfort us and give us peace like only He can. We can have that blessed assurance that one day we will be together again – and that will be such a reunion!" "My WORD for this week to share is “IMPACT.” My first thought was the “impact” wrench that my husband was using this past weekend. Once he pulled the trigger it did not take much effort to loosen the bolt. Just like us and our sharing Jesus with others. It does not take much effort on our part but once it starts, the “impact” it makes is endless. We can “impact” others in private or in public. We all have “impact” work to do. We are all called to “impact” and serve. We are all called to make an “impact” contribution for God’s kingdom. We need to “impact” others with how Jesus loves – even when there are those that appear unlovable to us. Holy Spirit, teach us how. Is our power of one a strong “impact?” We are to be the salt and the light of the earth. This means we need to “impact” others daily. Did our light become dim from all the distractions of life? Holy Spirit, help us become the “impact” to others that changes things. Help us “impact” others the way Jesus would, I pray. His examples are so numerous in the Bible. Let us glean from the best “impact” example known to man. I pray we all practice our “impact!”' “You know the story of what happened in Judea. It began in Galilee after John preached a total life-change. Then Jesus arrived from Nazareth, anointed by God with the Holy Spirit, ready for action. He went through the country helping people and healing everyone who was beaten down by the Devil. He was able to do all this because God was with him. ~ Acts 10:37-38 (MSG) | January Worship ~ Online & In-Person Pastor Mike Hileman ~ Sundays at 11:00am.
