A Note From Mr. Sandefur

Lion Family,

As the crisp winds of autumn fill the air and leaves begin to paint the world with vibrant hues, we find ourselves at the threshold of a new season. Fall, with its striking beauty and the promise of renewal, is a poignant reminder of the ever-changing seasons of life.

In our journey at The King's Academy, we are devoted to ensuring that our students remain steadfast, unwavering in their faith, and equipped to face the varying seasons of life. 1 Corinthians 15:58 encourages us to be "steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord," a principle we instill in the hearts of our students.

This season, as we embrace the spirit of fall, let us also come together as a community of believers. We invite you to join us in lifting prayers for the land of Israel during this time of turmoil and conflict. Our faith teaches us the value of peace and compassion, and we strive to cultivate these values within our students, who are our future leaders and ambassadors for Christ.

As we walk through this beautiful season of change and transformation, let us hold steadfast to our faith, our values, and our commitment to making a positive impact on the world. May the Lord bless our efforts and keep us unwavering in our mission.

Wishing you all a wonderful start to the fall season, filled with faith, hope, and an abundance of blessings.

In Christ,

Jeremy Sandefur
President/Head of School

Update: Community Breast Cancer Awareness Events

Thank you so much to everyone who came and participated, helped with, and donated to our Community Breast Cancer Walk. We raised a total of $3,327.79 from passing the pink buckets at the Pink Out game, Hoops for Healing basketball event, Silent Auction, and donations to our walk. In the three years that we have done this event, we have raised $7,327.79 to go to patients battling breast cancer at The University of Tennessee Medical Center. Because you gave, we are able to help more patients this year! We are grateful for the support that we had from our families, as well as our TKA family, and our community. We are thankful to God for the hope that He gives us and for being with us as we have been on our journeys.
Thank you!

Forged Men's Group

October 20th, 6:30 AM

As we continue to foster a strong sense of community and faith within The King's Academy, we are excited to introduce the "Forged Men's Group". This is an opportunity for the men in our community to gather, share, and grow together in faith.

Our first meeting will take place on Friday, October 20th, in the Ashe Cafeteria at 6:30 AM. We'll spend around 30-45 minutes in a devotion and prayer session. The theme for our inaugural gathering will be "What is Biblical Community?" – a topic that holds great significance in our mission.

Craig Connatser, a valued member of our TKA community, will lead the discussion. His insights and guidance will undoubtedly enrich our understanding of this crucial theme.

We hope you can join us for this special time of fellowship, reflection, and spiritual growth. Please mark your calendars, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or require further information. We look forward to coming together as the Forged Men's Group and building a stronger, faith-centered community at TKA.

Forged Women's Group

October 27th, 6:30 AM

As we continue to foster a strong sense of community and faith within The King's Academy, we are excited to introduce a new opportunity for the female members of our community to gather and strengthen our faith through the "Forged Women's Group".

Our first meeting will take place on Friday, October 27th, at 6:30 AM in the Ashe Cafeteria. We will spend approximately 30-45 minutes engaging in a devotion and prayer session.

Our inaugural theme, "What is Biblical Community?", holds profound importance within our mission, and we are fortunate to have April Kandel, an esteemed member of the TKA family, lead this discussion.

This gathering promises to be a space for fellowship, spiritual growth, and the building of a supportive female community.

Please mark the date on your calendars, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or require additional information.

We look forward to coming together as the Forged Women's Group, where we can deepen our faith and sense of community within the TKA family.
