Calming the Storm

Now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation! Now we are in the storm, the boat almost swamped; but Jesus is here now, and when we call him he will calm the storm. Even the wind and waves listen to him as they would to their creator. We also listen to him and are called to believe in the power of God’s word in him, a power greater than all that we fear.

From the Executive Committee

important notice

We regret that drafts of the minutes from the congregational meeting on May 20, 2018, and the council meeting on May 21, 2018, were published in the June 2018 Dialogue without being reviewed. Those versions of the minutes included a few errors, and did not accurately reflect the actions taken at those meetings. An updated draft of the minutes of those two meetings are available on our website: click here, and hard copies are available under the Jumbotron. Our sincere apologies for the miscommunication. As a reminder, meeting minutes are not official until they have been approved by the next meeting of the same body (council or congregation), so the minutes printed in the Dialogue are drafts meant for informational purposes only. Thank you for understanding.

Through personal insights from her 5-years providing spiritual care inside the Dane County Jail, Rev.
