Happy Weekend!!

I made Monster Cookies this week, to satisfy my craving for cookies and color. As I write this newsletter, there are still a few hours left to weigh in on my Instagram story poll: Do you include raisins in your Monster Cookies?! So far, I am definitely in the minority, liking raisins in these cookies. Please take a quick peek and place your vote!

The snow is falling so prettily outside right now as we gear up for a big weekend of 5th grade girls basketball with our daughter Tessa. And when that tournament wraps up tomorrow, it'll be time to tune into the Super Bowl here in Minnesota. We're excited to take it all in, from the comfort of our own couch.

A couple of My Favorite Things this week... Well, actually these are a couple of our daughter's favorite things. Tessa is 10 years old and loves to make slime >> our dining room table is pretty much a permanent slime making station. And awhile back, she ordered some soft clay (link HERE) for making butter slime (my favorite slime!). The clay has been such a hit, and is a nice price, that we just placed another order to give as birthday gifts to her slime-making friends. The other thing Tessa is recommending this week is the successor to the book that I talked about last week. She just finished this book (link HERE) and has put it in queue for us to read together at bedtime. I'm already looking forward to it!

Thank you so much for joining me here each week, for reading the blog, and for following along on social media. I am so grateful for your company!

Have an awesome weekend!
-Brenda
