Hello, Quilting Friends!

LionJudah

Oh my goodness - seems a few months have slipped on by - guess that's what happens when you are busy quilting along and then a pandemic hits! I hope this newsletter finds you and yours well during these uncertain times. We are hangin' in there with you!

500-x-500

While I may have seemed "silent" I haven't been absent from my work! I am pleased as punch to give you a heads up on the launching of my re-vamped and much improved Etsy Shop! My daughter-in-love Katie has agreed to a "friendly take-over" and is now managing my online sales. Now instead of patterns only, we are offering you the same tools, notions, and fabric kits that I normally bring to a guild/trunk show. Yep, haven't been doing much traveling to teach so we thought we'd bring the shop to you virtually!

Illuminated-Journey-Kit-

So here's a little preview. Quanities of fabrics and kits are limited ~ as a newsletter subscriber you are at an advantage as things won't be announced on other social media platforms until May 1st. Okay, I know it's already April 30th but goodness we've been busy little beavers! I promise not to announce at midnight to give you a jumpstart (grin).

MintCocolateChipKit

You'll recognize two of my patterns, Illuminated Journey and Mint Chocolate Chip - limited quantities of the "original" fabrics used in the pattern cover quilt are being offered as complete kits. Meaning pattern, fabrics for the top, backing and binding. Tools not included but they are listed in the store for your convenience!

Did I mention that Katie is super fast when it comes to shipping! Usually within one business day its off to your friendly abode!

StormyStarsKit

Stormy Stars is one of my all time Deb Tucker pattern favorites as well as fabric favorites! I've had the privilege to teach multiple workshops across the miles ~ sew much fun! If you've been following me for any length of time you may remember when I was a Harvey refugee with the Tuckers - while there I quilted Deb's shop sample then went home to make my own... (mine isn't quilted yet). Well, if you know anything about fabric collections you know they don't stay around long ~ so if you want one JUST LIKE mine and Deb's then get one while the gettin' is good!

NorthernWoods.Fabric-By-The-Yard

Fabric by The Yard

Bear with us as we complete the Etsy listings ~ I'm excited to share that my online presence is offering the remaining fabrics I have in my studio for both the Blue Moon and Northern Woods collections from Island Batik ~ these are no longer available from the manufacturer and are in limited quantities sold in one yard increments, in one continuous cut. In other words if you order (3) one yard cuts then you will receive a single 3 yard cut not three 1 yard cuts. Yep - we know all about you who like to use the length cut for non-pieced borders! We've got you covered!

If you don't see these images just yet give Katie a little extra time ~ she's taking care of our sweet Reagan while undertaking this exciting joint venture! Not to mention having a husband under foot during this COVID19 stay-home directive.

Ebay - Chips N Queso

While my Etsy Store carries Studio 180 Design tools specific to my patterns (with the intention of growing to full inventory), Katie has listed items from my traveling "pop up shop" on Ebay. Her shop has multiple items which were in limited quantities to soon be categorized as quilt related to separate out from her other items. In the meantime...

"Pardon our Growth"** and don't miss out on very limited quantities of Island Batik PreCuts, misc. Studio 180 Design patterns, a few Studio 180 Design tools along with quilting notions. Who knows, you might find a book or two from Katie & Eric's listings!

Click on the buttons to be taken to either the Esty Shop or Ebay Shop - our families appreciate your support!

RiverValleyStrip

Special Purchase

Arriving ANY moment - I was able to order the last of current stock of Island Batik precuts in Deb Tucker's Signature Line River Valley which is beginning to ship to local quilt shops. Seriously a very very very limited quantity of both the 2 1/2" strip and the 10" stacks. Keep checking the Etsy store ~ as soon as Mr. Deliveryman rings my doorbell Katie will make the listing go live! (Disclaimer, Island Batik may or may not have more coming, but I can't guarantee we will be able to offer more than what we have currently purchased)

Star60

Coming Soon

We are all eagerly awaiting Deb Tucker's newest tool, Star 60 ~ rest assured that when this becomes available I will have it in my Etsy store!

Looking Forward

Guess I've made up for missing a month or two - thanks for sticking with me on this long-winded ramble!

By the way, in case you've been wondering ~ my three new quilts designed to support the upcoming Fall Market 2020 Signature Collection for The Quilt Rambler with Island Batik were completed and shipped on time. Oh it's so difficult to wait until Fall Quilt Market to share! But as I've always said, good things come to those who wait!

Drumroll Please

That said, I can now share my creation for Spring Market 2020 which, due to COVID19, was canceled. Quilt Shops are getting virtual previews to order fabulous new collections. Be sure and let them know you are interested in this particular line called Ohana and my pattern Not Your Grandmother's Sampler Watch my blog and newsletter for the pattern release early summer. This is the first "public" viewing so I hope you like it!

But Wait! There's More!

Naturally (grin)...short and sweet with more details later on the blog ~ I must have passed the test as Island Batik has asked me to once again have a Signature Collection, this time for Spring Market 2021 ~ I'm so honored and sew excited! Time to get back to the drawing board for new designs to support yet another fabulous fabric line!
