Here's what's happening at Morton Library...
Out and About locations

FIND US "OUT & ABOUT" AT THESE LOCATIONS

While the library is closed for the Refresh Project, you can visit with our staff when they are "Out & About" in Morton. Keep checking our calendar and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) for additional "pop-ups" around town. You'll find us at:
Eli's Coffee Shop
8:30-10:00 a.m. on Apr. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
On Monday mornings you can come ask questions, get help placing holds on books, and we'll also have a few surprises.
Kroger
9:00 a.m.-noon on Apr. 7 and 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Apr. 19
Come check out our mini library.
Leaves 'n Beans
1:30-2:00 p.m. on Apr. 18 & 25
Enjoy a storytime in the afternoon.
Gold's Gym
4:30-6:00 p.m. on Apr. 11 and 8:30-10:00 a.m. on Apr. 26
Learn about audiobooks and ebooks.

The library building is closed

Just a reminder that the Morton Library building is closed to the public beginning March 24 and throughout April during our Refresh Project. We'll reopen in May and will announce the exact date as soon as we know. Remember, when placing a hold online, choose another area library to pick up your items. This month, Becky Grady will talk about physical therapy. GEMS (Girls Excelling in Math and Science) allows girls to explore and get hands-on experience in different areas of science, technology, engineering and math. GEMS is sponsored by the Morton Branch of AAUW. Grades: 4-7 REGISTER NOW

Chapter Chatters meets once a month for a book discussion, activities, and snacks. Snacks and drinks are provided. No registration needed. April's title is Secret School by Avi. Ages: 9-12

Summer Guide

SUMMER GUIDE COMING SOON

Look for the Morton Park District Summer Guide coming out in April. The Summer Guide now includes the Morton Library's Summer Reading programs and events! We'd like to thank the Park District for letting us use Freedom Hall for library programs while we're closed and we're excited to partner with them for the second year with the summer guide. Look for the Morton Park District and Morton Library Summer Guide to come home with your student. It will also be available at the end of April at the Park District office and when we're "Out & About" around town.
