AIA New Mexico takes issue with 2017 Draft State of New Mexico Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program Qualified Allocation Plan

AIA New Mexico is advocating for changes to the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority Draft Qualified Allocation Plan for 2017 for Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. Read the written comments submitted to MFA on Friday, October 7th and read the AIA New Mexico Press Release here.

AIA New Mexico views the changes to the 2017 Draft Qualified Allocation Plan as detrimental to the Low-Income House Tax Credit Program. AIA New Mexico strongly urges the reconsideration of and revision to the draft 2017 Plan to assure the long term success of this highly beneficial program for so many New Mexico families in need of decent affordable rental housing.

AIA New Mexico is proud of the many award winning Low-Income Tax Credit projects designed by its members in the past several years and will continue to advocate for the conditions that will make such projects possible in the future.
