Hello !!

Summer always seems like a time to take it a bit easier and perhaps try some new things. And I'm offering two opportunities here:

1. a short movement practice we experienced in the Awareness Through Movement® class series that just ended related to regaining your equilibrium when you lose balance to the side
2. an invitation to build a morning movement routine.

You can even do both -- try out the audio with the link below and then come to class!
Hope to see you there, and in the meantime - stay cool!

Re-gain Your Equilibrium and Avoid a Fall

Person losing Balance

After working on improving balance with attention to alignment, flexibility and coordination, the recent class series finished up with some practices that can help us re-gain our balance when we start to lose it. This and several of the re-gaining balance practices included in this session were developed by Dr. Ruthy Alon, a movement mentor of mine and one of Dr Feldenkrais' original group of Israeli students. It's part of Bones for Life®, an application of the Feldenkrais Method Ruthy developed to address posture, alignment, balance and walking. Check out this one, a six-minute audio on my website. You can access it here.
