HEADLINING WOMEN IN PUBLIC HEALTH

There are some pretty amazing women headlining at the Milken Institute's Public Health Summit this week. For instance, Barbara Pierce Bush, who is the Co-founder and President of a public health-focused non-profit, Global Health Corps. She lives in a glittery, all-access world but has chosen to dedicate herself to improving the lot of others, running GHC's fellows program, which sends ambitious people who are interested (but not necessarily trained) in public health to work either overseas or in troubled American cities like Newark, New Jersey.

The last few months of hard work have really paid off - we have 550+ high-quality attendees coming to the summit in the next two days - March 1st and 2nd, which is being held at George Washington University and The Ritz Carlton in Washington, D.C.

PRE-OSCARS :: ELEMENTS FROM ECOLUXE

Another highlight for Bon Vivant this month was collaborating with the ECOLUXE ​Pre-Oscars Celebrity Luxury Lounge ​that celebrated of the 88th Academy Awards at the legendary Beverly Hilton in the Stardust Penthouse and rooftop.

We started our production day with florals, pulling together beautiful arrangements in white and rich golds. Guests enjoyed farm-to-table healthy foods, daytime brand activations, featuring all of the eco-friendly lifestyle brands that participated.

Later in the evening, with charity partner, Shriners Hospitals for Children, a indoor/outdoor cocktail reception was held. Continuing with the theme, we decked the rooftop out in white and gold furniture with amber lighting, complimented by giving it a very clean, crisp Hollywood glam look. Guests enjoyed music from DJ Mike Shay (Vanderpump Rules), wine by Fete Today, sparkly from La Croix, replete with a blackjack table.

A NEW VENUE :: CATERING TO YOUR EVERY WHIM

No detail has been overlooked with the V Hotel in Palm Springs. Two innovative dining destinations will debut on the heels of the hotel’s opening this month. Developed by New York-based Blank Slate specifically for the property, the new restaurant & lounge along with the poolside bar & grill, will yield signature seafood and meat dishes as well as vegan and vegetarian options, all designed to appeal to a variety of palettes. The restaurant’s changing menu will focus on local, sustainable and seasonal produce.
