INDIANAPOLIS SINGER/SONGWRITER HAS FOUND HER GROOVE ON SINGLE #5
Kelsi Marie is a singer/songwriter that was brought to MECAP by her old high school pal Indianapolis rapper Skypp. Her debut single "I Just Can't" featured contributions from the legendary Reggie Griffin on guitar, and saxophone prodigy Bryan Thompson. She then went into a psuedo pop lane with her second single "Shine Your Light" , On her third offering she offered up a slice of reggae tinged hip-hop with "Bringing The Truth" . On her fourth single "Freedom" she addressed the ills of a society that has systemic racism and the music video had images of several Black people killed by police.
On her new single "Underestimated" she wants to show another side of herself with an instantly contagious beat crafted by Zero Tha Composer of which she delivers in a determined style to let the world know don't 'underestimate me'. The new record is accompanied by a music video that shows the many sides of her.
