Yesterday the Federal Government unveiled that around 800,000 half-price airline tickets will be made available from 1st April as part of tourism support package. The great news is that SJT will have these fares available to book for you, so you can take advantage of the promotion and also support your travel agent!

There are 13 regions from across Australia that are included, all of which have been chosen due to their usual reliance on international tourism. They include interstate flight routes to Broome, Uluru, Alice Springs, Kangaroo Island, The Whitsundays, Cairns, Merimbula, Launceston, Devonport, Burnie, Avalon, Hamilton Island and Gold Coast. They key to remember here is that apart from Adelaide-Kangaroo Island, all of the routes are interstate. That means no internal Queensland flights on the offer, e.g. Brisbane to Hamilton Island.

The fares will go on sale from 1st April, 2021 and will be available with Qantas, Virgin and Jetstar on selected routes for travel until the end of September, 2021. The finer details will be released over the coming weeks.
