February Podcasts Are About Shamanism and Children
Dory Cote, Shamanic Practitioner and founder of The Center for Earth Light Healing conducts podcasts once a week on shamanism. During the month of February, her podcasts pertain to shamanism and children. I encourage all of my clients to listen to them as they will help you better understand the work I do with (your) children. The last podcast of the month is an interview between Dory and me, scheduled to air on February 23rd. She asked many questions about the work I do, Spirit Camp and a book I am writing about working with children. You may access her podcasts here.
Religion Versus Spirituality
Many people ask me if I am teaching children a religion. I always explain that I teach spirituality, not religion. To me, religion is based on someone else's experience of God, whereas spirituality is based on one's own, personal experience of God. One is external; the other is internal. The work I do with children is intended to help them get in touch with their personal connection to something or someone greater than themselves. Upcoming Adult Workshops
Parents often tell me they would love to take classes from me to learn more about the curriculum their children are learning. Adults who are exploring their own spirituality sometimes don't know how to support their children as the children progress through various levels of classes and camps with Dancing Jaguar. In February, I will be offering three workshops that will explore some of the concepts I have been teaching children in the past year.

Please note that class times vary due to my schedule constraints. Please mark your calendars accordingly. All classes are held at the Universalist Unitarian Church of Waterville located at 69 Silver Street.
All class levels are $75.00 with payment due in full at the time of registration.

Pop! Here Comes The Sun! is a spiritual book for children. It is about the Sun’s relationship with the Earth, particularly pertaining to what that relationship means to kids.
