About Daune's Style

"I have been creating portraits, it seems, all of my life. For years, I worked in diverse medium - pastel, colored pencil, graphite pencil, ink. To be honest, any medium that allowed me to create and express emotion, I embraced! Then, I discovered watercolor and a new substrate called Aquabord. In my life, all I am and all I hope to be can be found within my artwork."
