Winter Sales Hours: February Specials

Meat and vegetable sales take place at the Farm Office on Thursdays from 3-6pm throughout the winter months. In addition to Glynwood meat and eggs, we have storage crops and fresh greens grown at Glynwood available for purchase. The meat special for February is on Pork Chops, now $9.60/lb (normally $12/lb). A complete price list for our meat and eggs, including current product availability, can be found here.

You can also continue to place orders for our meat and eggs online at

We are now accepting applications for the next cohort of entrepreneurs that will participate in the Hudson Valley Farm Business Incubator, which is seeding the next generation of sustainable farm businesses in the region. Three entrepreneurs will be selected this fall to launch their businesses at the Incubator, which is located on 323 acres of prime farmland in the Mohonk Preserve Foothills, in early 2016.

We will be accepting applications through June 30th, 2015 from entrepreneurs with a minimum of two years farming experience, a demonstrated commitment to sustainable agriculture and a detailed business proposal, with priority given to enterprises that emphasize regenerative livestock management. More information for potential applicants can be found at glynwood.org/incubator or by contacting Stacy Dedring, Glynwood's Farmer Training Program Manager.

Keep Putnam Farming Update

Our Keep Farming program is currently being implemented right here in Putnam County to strengthen agriculture in our home county. The initiative was recently featured in both philipstown.info / The Paper and the Putnam County News and Recorder (subscription required).

We have spent the winter months compiling preliminary data from Putnam County farmer surveys, as well as data from county resident surveys. We are planning to release a comprehensive report with an analysis of the survey findings and recommendations for supporting agriculture in Putnam County this spring.

The event, hosted by Edible Manhattan in partnership with Taste NY and Glynwood, will take place on Wednesday, March 18th from 6-9pm at Tribeca Three Sixty°. The event will be a benefit for the nascent New York Cider Association, a trade group that Glynwood has fostered to advance the interests of the state's craft hard cider industry.
