The Carolina Classic Fair

Celebrating its 139th year in 2021, the Carolina Classic Fair returns! The Fair features nationally renowned musical entertainment, delicious food and beverages, exhibits for livestock, poultry, fine arts and crafts, a world-class carnival with numerous rides and games, and many more activities.

The Carolina Classic Fair will follow all public health & safety standards to make sure it continues to be a safe experience for the whole family!

2021 Ghoulash Virtual Costume Contest

Greensboro Youth Council is hosting the 2021 Ghoulash Virtual Costume Contest, October 11-24. This virtual contest will be on the Greensboro Parks and Recreation’s Facebook page. To participate, simply comment with a photo of you in costume to the Facebook post. GYC members will judge on “Best Children’s Costume” and “Best Family Costume.”

Facebook users will “like” their favorite photo submissions, and the most “liked” submission will determine the “Fan Favorite” winner. Winners announced on October 30th.
