Some Stuff to Ponder...

▪ The baby Mary carried was not a Caesar, a man who would become a god, but a far greater wonder – the true God who had become a man! – Kent Hughes
▪ What self denial! What self abasement! What self emptying! He, whom no infinitudes can hold, is contained within infant’s age, and infant’s form. Can it be, that the great “I AM THAT I AM” shrinks into our flesh? – Henry Law
▪ Emmanuel. God with us. He who resided in Heaven, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Spirit, willingly descended into our world. He breathed our air, felt our pain, knew our sorrows, and died for our sins. He didn’t come to frighten us, but to show us the way to [Heaven and salvation]. – Chuck Swindoll
▪ Remaining what He was He became what He was not - sin for us. - Unknown
▪ God with all His omnipotence at His disposal never wastes anything. He never sends a flood if a shower will do; never sends a fortune if a shilling will do; never sends an army if a man will do. And He never thunders if a whisper will do. ― F.W. Boreham
▪ Nicknames reveal the man; real names conceal the man. ― F. W. Boreham
▪ We make our decisions, and then our decisions turn around and make us. ― F.W. Boreham
▪ Christmas is based on an exchange of gifts, the gift of God to man – His unspeakable gift of His Son, and the gift of man to God – when we present our bodies a living sacrifice. – Vance Havner
▪ The immense step from the Babe at Bethlehem to the living, reigning triumphant Lord Jesus, returning to earth for His own people–that is the glorious truth proclaimed throughout Scripture. As the bells ring out the joys of Christmas, may we also be alert for the final trumpet that will announce His return, when we shall always be with Him. – Alan Redpath
▪ Who can add to Christmas? The perfect motive is that God so loved the world. The perfect gift is that He gave His only Son. The only requirement is to believe in Him. The reward of faith is that you shall have everlasting life. – Corrie ten Boom
