Meet the Authors: Wine and Watery Yarns - Catherine Chanter and Sara Taylor

Catherine Chanter (The Well) & Sara Taylor (The Shore) will talk about their debut novels with Louisa Joyner, editorial director of Canongate on Thursday 26th March at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £6 includes a glass of wine & canapes. Early Bird Offer: Entry + both books £20.

shore

The Shore is a family saga of sorts, spanning 150 years on a remote section of Virginia coastline. Epic, intimate, unsettling and extraordinary, this is a book you will be thinking about long after you put it down.

well

The Well starts in world reminiscent of Margaret Atwood's The Handmaids Tale and then spirals into a tense psychological thriller that will blow you away.

There are two exceptional debut novels, and you might want to meet the authors now before they get too famous...

Tickets available via email and phone (dulwichbooks@yahoo.co.uk or 0208 670 1920), but it's well worth booking online soon to get your ticket plus both novels for £20. See you there!

SOPHIE HANNAH & FANNY BLAKE IN CONVERSATION CHAIRED BY CATHY RENTZENBRINK

Quick Reads are exactly that, short, complete, great books for people who don't have time for a long novel, or just find the idea of it too daunting.

You can pop in to the shop and have a look at a few of the books on offer, but you should also join us for what will be an excellent discussion about reading for pleasure, adult literacy, and what Quick Reads is trying to achieve.

This event will be at Canada Water Library on Wednesday 25th Feburary at 7pm.
