February was a GREAT inspiring art show! We met new collectors and admirers of Art and our artists enjoyed many sales! We are proud to continue to offer artists a venue in which to showcase their creativity. The "It's Sketchy" art show was a great success! Many were able to SKETCH with Jimmy... and Many original pieces of art left the Mansion and found a home!

The 3rd Sunday Art Show is a great opportunity to introduce artistic creativity to our community. Our Artists continue to grow and learn and we are proud to have them! Our gallery artists have GREAT works available for purchase in many prices ranges... and they also do commissions!
We have an exciting lineup of shows and guest artists planned for 2019.

Original Art is the perfect addition to your home environment! It also makes GREAT GIFTS.

Well Winter still wants to hang on but we ALL seem ready for spring and green and flowers and just happy warm feelings. Speaking of happy warm feelings it was great seeing old friends and making new friends both at the 3rd Sunday Art Show and at Pardi Gras last month.. Both of these events were in Fort Smith (my favorite city) Sadly my fellow artist could not attend the 3rd Sunday Art Show last time and I was even LATE..ugh but we muddled through. My BIG triptych " The Serene Landscape" was completed and picked up by Methodist Retirement Village Director, Melissa Curry..she seemed very pleased I hope to see it after framing and installed in their newly built facility! Also sold two other works to lovely clients and our "Get Sketchy" event did bring out a few budding artists! well done! Pardi Gras was a well organized charity event in support of the Fort Smith Museum of History, I do not know the exact figure on how much was raised BUT I do know all three of my works offered received strong bidding YAY I hope they invite me back (thanks Deborah and Amy and all involved). NOW that was last month THIS month I have one event YES the 3rd Sunday Art Show 3/17/2019 from 1 to 4 pm. at Michael's Mansion in Fort Smith AR.. theme is "GO GREEN" yes we desire some green after this up and down winter..So artists will provide some works featuring the color green. Lets not get pinched!
GO GREEN!
