Think about volunteering - it will be lots of fun! | www.goodnessgrows4all.org Our Mission Statement: To cultivate personal, social, and community growth through gardening, education, and opportunity for people of all abilities. |  Jam has been restocked. | We had a wonderful Saturday in Columbiana, saw lots of friends, enjoyed the seasonal fun, and happily sold plenty of jam and catnip toys. We are already looking forward to next October in Columbiana. Now our crew is going to be very busy making more jam to be sure we have plenty for our October 28 fundraiser! Saturday evening was the Heroes & Halos Fall Harvest Ball. Rachel and Mike, Dustin, Tori, and Caleb were there from GG and reported that it was a blast. We all feel so lucky to have H&H as part of our community, putting on so many wonderful events and helping so many people! This week our crew, along with Crestview Middle School, made great progress in preparing for winter. Everyone had a lot of fun pulling up plants and finding the plant markers in the cool fall weather. Much work was also done in the warehouse as well as cleaning up the kitchen now that the busy growing season has ended. Some of our crew did some shopping at local farm supply stores while the rest began the process of sorting food items donated for the upcoming Giveaway. Both groups did a great job. Today we split up again, with half heading off to Canfield for exercise with Bethany at Fitness For All while the others got tasks accomplished here. After that, Cam came for a visit...and we'll see him again in two weeks for our fundraiser! (Thanks, Cam! It's always a treat to see you!) We usually only close for gusty winds.
