Lighthouse Park is closed today. It is too important to limit the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19. We must all do better at physically distancing ourselves.

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) released an announcement on Friday warning consumers about unauthorized fraudulent coronavirus tests. I just received an email about one today! We want to alert the American public that, at this time, the FDA has not authorized any COVID-19 home tests. Fraudulent health claims, tests, and products can pose serious health risks. If you are aware of fraudulent test kits for COVID-19, please report them to the FDA. Reports may be sent via email to:

The Health District launched drive up testing on Sunday, with reservations required. You have to be in a healthcare field or a high risk group to qualify. See info here:

We have a blood drive scheduled at Rosehill next Friday April 3. Bloodworks NW will be fully sanitizing the space and ensuring social distance is respected. Stay tuned for a link/number to make an appointment.

Mukilteo's Boys and Girls Club is open for extended hours for drop-ins and childcare, as they continue to observe the Health orders and state guidance.

Follow Physical Distancing Guidelines, stay 6 feet away from anyone you don't live with.

Use hand sanitizer as you enter a grocery store. Wash hands immediately upon returning home. Pay attention to packaging, and take action to sanitize products entering your home

Special Shopping Hours for Seniors, Other At-Risk People
A number of local grocery stores have announced special shopping hours for senior citizens and others with vulnerable immune systems.
QFC begins this week, 7-8am Monday-Thursday.
Albertsons, Haggen, and Safeway Tues. & Thurs. from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.; Target Wednesdays, first hour after opening; Whole Foods Daily, one hour before opening to the general public.
