Breaking the Rhythm

Summer Sermon Series

How often do we get hung up in the same routine or rhythm of life that we overlook the people, the places, and the ways in which God is at work around us? This summer we are “Breaking the Rhythm”. We invite you to join us over the course of the summer as we break our rhythm up a bit. Come to worship comfortably. Put away your high heels and neck tie if you wish and come expecting something to be different each week as we seek to experience something out of the ordinary!

Sunday, July 26: Ninth Sunday After Pentecost

Worship:

8:45 New Traditions

11:00 Traditional

Sermon: Breaking the Rhythm: Reconnect (Relationships)

Scripture: Luke 15:11-24

School Supply Drive

School Supply Drive

Help us give children in our community the opportunity to start the school year off on the right foot. The school supply drive runs until August 9th. The boxes to put the supplies in are in the Fellowship Hall and Narthex. In particular they need notebook paper and Kleenex. Any other school supplies are appreciated.

For more information on how you can help call Betty Bryant at 770-599-1512.

The Summer Chancel Choir...there's room for you!

Choir - New Members

If you have thought you may like to sing in the Chancel Choir but don't feel as though you have the time to make a commitment you can join the choir, through August - without a long-term commitment.

Plan on coming to a one-hour Wednesday night rehearsal at 7:00 PM, where we will be working only on the music we will be singing the following Sunday morning. The music will be easy to learn, and you don't have to read music or be willing to sing a solo in order to join us. You can sing with us just once, or perhaps three or four times, and you don't have to audition. If you're of high school age or above, think about it!

Please see Jim Preece after worship on Sunday morning, or call him at 678-525-5355.
