Director's Note

As we roll into the winter holiday season it is time to reflect upon the countless accomplishments in 2017. The positive support exhibited by every person in this community is worth rejoicing.

This group effort is powerful beyond measure! Whether it is overcoming a serious injury, working on trails, persevering through a storm, mentoring a coach or a rider, cheering fellow competitors, recruiting new members, finding bikes for riders, participating in a fundraising event, displaying lighthearted team spirit, collaborating on a National Anthem performance, or sharing stories over a campfire, the Colorado League strives to foster a community where meaningful bonds are created under the guise of participating in safe, friendly competition.

These experiences are the direct result of the collective dedication of volunteers, sponsors, coaches, parents, inspiring student-athletes, race crew, host communities, land managers, and the dedicated Colorado League Board of Directors.

The 2017 season affirmed the deep commitment and infinite rewards associated with fostering healthy youth from the saddle of a mountain bike. We look forward to expanding opportunities and going places in 2018. Special thanks to ALL of you for believing in the positive impact of the dirt revolution.

Keep finding JOY in the ride,

Kate Rau
