Community Morning Meeting Notes 9/12/17

▪ We are a Tree Nut/Peanut Aware Environment; please use "sun butter "or "wow butter" substitutes for food items being sent into school. We have many young students with severe peanut/tree nut allergies so please be vigilant about food items that may contain peanuts or tree nuts!
▪ Sunscreen & Bug Spray
Our weather is always changing but we still have a few beautiful days ahead of us! The sun is still strong so please on sunny days please sunscreen your child at home and send in sunscreen with your child so that we are able to reapply if needed during the school day!
Also, because of the tumultuous southern weather the mosquitos are quite plentiful! Please apply bug spray prior to school but if you would like to provide bug spray to be used at school please send in a note that states it is "ok" for us to apply.
▪ Third & Fourth Grade Music
Please remember to order your child's Violin as soon as possible if you have not done so already. Please [Click HERE for more information]
▪ Laurel School Calendars On Sale NOW! Get yours today! Cost is $5 and all proceeds benefit the schools Annual Fund!
▪ Harvest Night Gala Help! - Our Gala is the biggest fundraiser of the school year as we are a non-profit independent school. Please help us pass out flyers, participate in ticket sales and secure donated items! Contact the office if you are interested in being a part of our team! Please [Click HERE to buy tickets online and find our more information]
We also have flyers, procurement forms and tickets available in the front hallway!
▪ Each month prior to Community Morning Meeting join Mrs. Amy Carroll, Head of School for "Coffee Talk" at 8:15am. This is another way for families to connect with the school and create ways for families to be involved in our many activities. We will also have a "Bake Sale" each month during Community Morning Meeting as an opportunity to be involved and a great fundraiser for the school.
