April Newsletter

Hello Ladies,

Holy Week is upon us and soon we will be able to joyfully exclaim "Alleluia! Alleluia! He is Risen!" But first we have the solemn Paschal Triduum, when God calls us to share in His passion, death and resurrection. What beauty we find in the Cross. That through His death, Jesus gave us the ultimate gift: His love. I often think of the new life sprouting from the Earth. The flowers blooming, the green grass growing, and the birds chirping that spring is here... All these things God uses to remind us of His glory. Of His awesomeness!!! Yes AWESOMENESS!! He created all these things for us. Out of love for us. AND IT WAS GOOD. He is a good and gracious God. Offering up His son, Jesus, out of love. I know we all have been reflecting on that this Lent. As you enter into Holy Week I encourage you take these last few days before Easter to sit and reflect on what God might be bringing new into your life. In what areas is He germinating new life? Maybe it's a new prayer, or a new virtue He wants you to grow in, or maybe He just wants you to rest, maybe it's going out into your community or helping a neighbor, or taking time to be more present with your family. Whatever it may be take the time to reflect, to ponder, to pray these last few days of Lent.

Below you will find some fun ways to celebrate this holy week with your family, important Moms and More dates to remember, and more information about the upcoming women's retreat on April, 21st.

May this Holy Week and Easter Season bring you and your family many graces and abundant blessings.

Your Sister's in Christ,
Anna and Amy

Resurrection, Made New for the Abundant Life Lessons 3-5

Chapter 7 Overview

There are times when life's burdens so wound the spirit that only God's grace can revive us. Some of these wounds are self-inflicted - directly caused by our own bad choices. Sadly, other painful burdens are thrust upon us by those who sin against us- even those who are supposed to love us. These wounds often cut deepest of all.

The Great Physician sees all of these hidden scars and calluses, and wants to restore us completely - if we will only let Him. Such healing requires an act of faith-filled courage- choosing to forgive those who have hurt us so that we might be released from the bonds of anger and resentment. Only then can we "arise from the darkness," that binds us to all that is good, and all that is God.

In this chapter, we will examine this process though the testimonies of individuals who have experienced God's healing in their own lives. May their stories encourage you to recognize and seek that healing for others- and for yourself.
