It was the biggest year yet at the Hamilton Fringe!

The 15th Hamilton Fringe Festival saw record-breaking numbers, including more than 12,000 tickets sold and over $108,000 returned to artists. This represents a nearly 20% growth over our most successful year!

This year also marked the launch of our outdoor Fringe Club in Gore Park which offered a wide range of events, from drag shows to industry talks, from buskers to yoga classes, all of it taking place outside of Redchurch Cafe + Gallery on our new licensed patio or on the green space in Gore Park. The 2018 festival brought a whole lot of excitement to downtown Hamilton in July!

Thank you so much to all of the staff, volunteers, sponsors, artists, and audiences who made this festival such a roaring success. We can't wait to build on this energy as we begin planning for Fringe 2019!

We celebrated the end of Fringe 2018 with a late-night party at the Fringe Club in Gore Park on the final Sunday of the festival and congratulated all the participating companies on a fantastic run. Hats off to our award winners this year:
