Dear Friends,

February has much to offer for pregnant and new parents alike. Read on for our upcoming classes, the prenatal health fair, and the Babypalozza we are part of this month.

If you have some free time tomorrow there are a few spots still left for the Resilient Mama Retreat that Bronwyn is co-hosting with Amma Yoga and Reclaiming the Wild.

And if you want to just get out of the house check out our weekly Cinebabies program. A great way to check out the Princess Cinema with baby in tow!

We look forward to seeing you out and about soon.
Love,
Bronwyn & Maggie

Books for Babies

noltelourens

Books are a great way to help your baby develop and become a reader for life!

At birth a baby has all the brain cells they need for life, but they need to develop the connections (or synapses) between these cells. These connections are the keys to learning. The brain’s ability to grow these connections is greatest between birth and age three. Reading to a child from birth provides the sights, sounds, and touch that will help the brain develop.

Babies learn language by hearing language and they can hear from seven months in utero.

Better Bedtime Infant & Child Sleep Solutions

Are you tired of stressful bedtimes, short naps and never getting a full-nights sleep? Does your baby wake several times a night and only fall asleep if rocking, swinging, bouncing, eating, etc.? A child needs to be able to fall asleep for themselves before healthy sleep can become achievable and consistent. This does not mean that you need to leave them alone to cry all night. We get babies and toddlers to sleep well consistently by teaching them healthy sleep habits. The strategy we use will depend on your parenting style and where your child is at developmentally.
