Over half of God's Word is written in story form. So why aren't we more into telling the stories of Scripture?!
William "Bill" Bjoraker is a pioneer and prophetic voice in a small but growing movement to return to communicating Scripture the way it was originally communicated - as stories told word of mouth. And, as the Associate Professor of Judeo-Christian Studies and Contemporry Western Culture at William Carey International University, with a PhD from Fuller Theological Seminary in Intercultural Studies and Contemporary Western Culture, he's got the education to back his message.
I can't tell you how important I think this is. The Gutenberg era is OVER, my friends. The Zuckerberg era has commenced. My generation doesn't communicate through literate methods so much as through visual and oral - i.e. storytelling - methods. That's why I talked to my congregation for TWO MONTHS about telling the stories of Scripture word of mouth (download those talks here) Please, take this seriously.
So here's what I want you to do to become a part of this and keep from getting left behind.
1. READ Bill's manifesto here - it's the best thing I've read yet about storytelling from a Jewish perspective.
2. WATCH his video here or at the bottom of this email. http://youtu.be/37Niq2lRYLg
