Greetings from China.
Where I have just arrived a few days ago coming from Indonesia. Last week I was telling you about Blue Sky Thinking, you can read it here.

Hope the Christmas trading season is going good for you. In HQ in Sheffield I know it's pretty manic, two containers arrived. One from Indonesia and one from China. I'm pretty sure I'm to blame for this monumental act of bad planning. As much as we plot and plan to avoid big deliveries in the major trading period it happens every year. Delays, shipping diversions, weather conditions, port congestion and acts of God all conspire against our best efforts. And you cannot just leave it in the container or at the port because those mega shipping companies will charge you mega storage fees.

A heap of stock arriving takes manpower away from shipping goods out, if you don't book it in you end up with blocked logjamed warehouse. But the good news is lots of stuff back in stock.
And the boys and girls in goods in apart from using my name in conjunction with some colourful adjectives have been working all hours to get back on track.

And some new stuff from Indonesia I am delighted to see.. See below for details.

Meanwhile here in Yiwu I'm also busy sorting out supplier issues and trying my best to find the next-big-thing with only a few days to go before it is time to fly again.
Since I was last in Yiwu a motorway into the town centre has opened easing traffic amazingly, several new hotels and two new wholesale markets opened. The pace of development is awesome and yet in the streets they are complaining, unrest in Arabia is knocking business badly for the first time I have seen showrooms in the central area closed with to let signs. Only a year ago they were selling for a million pounds.

Anyway I know you are busy with Christmas and all..
