Adult Ballet Restart!

I am pushing the reset button this week! Trying to make sure we have enough to get the Adult Ballet class off the ground. It is my intention to have our first class this Wednesday night, January 31st, from 7pm to 8pm. I have dozens of people who have repeatedly expressed interest in the class, but I need actual confirmations and registrations in order to schedule it. Assuming we are able to start the program this Wednesday, this session will last ten weeks starting on Wednesday, January 31st and ending on April 11th. There will be no class on April 4th. Class time will be from 7:00PM to 8:00Pm.

FORMAT.

We are going to replicate the 60/90 class format that we used for last season. The first sixty minutes of the class, from 7pm to 8pm, is a gentle ballet class for beginners designed to strengthen and stretch muscles, and increase range of motion. The class will be extended for thirty minutes to 8:30pm for intermediate level dancers. These students must be experienced and be comfortable with terminology, be able to execute secure and stable turns, hold turn out, and be aware of body positions. For the first couple of weeks, we will only do the 60 minute class so Anilce can assess all of the participants. She will determine if and when we go to the 90 minute class.

COST.

It was evident that people struggled making class every week so we are going to change the payment options to make it easier and more economical. We are going to offer five-class cards and ten-class cards for both the 60 and 90 minute class options. If there is still space available, we will offer drop-in rates for the open spots.
