Hello ,
Greetings from Cumbria.
Last week I was telling you about The Phoenix Effect. a short history of Ancient Wisdom, you can read it here.
Yes no longer in the far east, now in the far west of England.
Hangzhou to Guangzhou (delayed three hours), almost missed the connection to Amsterdam, then to Manchester.
Collect car from Enterprise then in no time on the banks of Lake Windermere. Down by the lake at dawn, it is as still as a picture and water like glass the sky and snow topped peaks perfectly reflected.
No wonder this place has inspired so many artists and poets and storytellers. And it has to be said, so many original gift shops, and beautiful gifts.
This time of year is gloriously people free, no traffic jams, and with a chill in the clear air it is breathtaking and beautiful at every turn.
Lots of AW traders here, but I can see most them take our products and make them their own. Been contacting with both nature and customers :)
So important to reconnect, because it easy to live in a bubble that allows you to miss the real needs of customers.
I will be in Sheffield very shortly, probably just getting in the way, as they are massively busy. My development projects and ideas are of very much second class importance when several hundred orders are pressing to be despatched. We are still about three days behind but working all hours flat out to ship orders.
Bath bombs and soaps are also in more than full production and packed straight to waiting orders, we are still having more demand than we can meet. Please be patient, we are doing our best.
Staying in a nice Victorian country house hotel, I like how they have preserved the holiday experience that you can imagine Dickens, Wordsworth and all those authors and artists enjoyed. Indeed in the library here I found lots of dusty old books from years ago, in the back of a novel I found an advert.
