At our studio spruce-up, teens can earn community service hours. Adult volunteers are especially needed.

Our annual spruce-up is coming. Help us make the studio sparkle on Friday, Sept. 8 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. We will be cleaning and organizing the studio in preparation for Open House week. Watch for a sign-up sheet to go up at the studio. We especially need adult volunteers. Volunteer hours are available for students who bring their school form with them. Thank you!

Taylor

Taylor Ka toured China and performed Black Swan.

Lots of great work at EBT this summer. Many dancers got pointe shoes for the first time. Other dancers greatly increased their strength and artistry taking advantage of EBT’s summer intensives and are ready to make 2017-18 their best season yet! Some older teens participated in intensives at SAB, Ballet West, Ballet Austin, Ballet Hawaii, Colorado Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet and others. Taylor Ka toured China for two weeks with Long Beach Ballet and was chosen to perform Black Swan with a professional partner at seven performances throughout China.

Is there an EBT superstar you would like to thank or celebrate? Email leah@emeraldballet.org so we can include more kudos and accomplishments in our next newsletter.
