we proudly announce the international VOD release of our comedy TOILETS on this year´s WORLD TOILET DAY Nov. 19th.
Fully aware of WORLD TOILET DAY´s cause and its important intentions, TOILETS may bring some good humor to this serious matter. So don´t miss this pitch-black comedy, an intelligent critique of contemporary society, driven by a subtle sense of humor that just few would expect to come from Germany.
Please have a look and spread the word on your social media channels.
While in this day and age Germany’s economic and social stability inspires awe and admiration throughout the world, TOILETS is looking behind the scenes of success and therefor betakes to the place where everybody has to come clean and face the truth! With five delicate stories taking place on five different toilets, this pitch-black comedy relentlessly illuminates some dark corners of today’s german society, thereby revealing a colorful potpourri of human perfidy.
TOILETS is the first feature film of directing duo Sören Hüper and Christan Prettin, who’s previous two shortfilm projects proved highly successful with a worldwide festival run on 165+ Film Festivals, 20+ Awards and a significant number of broadcasts by TV stations domestic and abroad. After touring film festivals in 2014 and the international market premiere at the European Film Market 2015 in Berlin, TOILETS was theatrically released this summer in Germany as TOILET STORIES. In cooperation with Paris based digital distribution specialists Under The Milky Way, TOILETS will now be made available in 60+ countries worldwide through VOD platforms Apple iTunes, Amazon Video, Google Play and VUDU.
